In recognition of service to its community, the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce has been awarded a $2,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation's Local Community Contribution/Hunger Outreach Grant Program.
The Foundation explained its choice of the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce for the Award saying, "We believe that your organization is doing important work in the communities you serve, and we are proud that we are able to support you in your efforts."
"We would like to thank the Walmart Foundation and local store #4829 in Gilbert for selecting the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce for this Award," said San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce President, Tisha Castillo. "The Chamber's core belief is service to its community and to be recognized for our efforts by one of the world's best-known brands and organizations is exciting and humbling."
The Chamber will use the grant to continue its expansion of services and resources available to member businesses throughout San Tan Valley.
