When starting a new business, a ‘breaking-in’ period is typical where owners get the word out about their products or services and slowly build a customer base. Hospitals are not so lucky. Since opening its doors November 1st, 2010, Banner Ironwood Medical Center at 37000 N Gantzel Rd. in San Tan Valley, has already treated over 20,000 patients and recently delivered its 500th baby. The 36-bed, full-service, acute care facility offers a variety of medical services including surgical, ER, OB, medical imaging, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasound.
