Arizona continues to grow, and much of this growth over the next 30 years will occur in Pinal County. The County has been working over the last 18 months to create the Pinal County Comprehensive Plan that preserves sensitive land areas and the lifestyle that Pinal residents enjoy. Arizona counties are required by state law to adopt comprehensive plans and the Pinal County Comprehensive Plan, when adopted by the Board of Supervisors, will replace the 2001 Comprehensive Plan. |

The Pinal County Comprehensive Plan update process has involved thousands of County residents and stakeholders from throughout the state to help shape Pinal County's future. The 60 day review period for the First Draft of the Plan closed last week, and the response was tremendous! Over 50 letters were received from a wide range of groups and interests. The common element shared by all the respondents was their desire to make Pinal County the best it can be. They also showed a strong level of trust that their comments would be taken very seriously. |
